Sherridan

Director / Barber / Colourist / Hair Stylist / Makeup Artist

Cutting hair since 15, this boss has shown she loves a challenge and pushing the boundaries. Full of passion, Sherridan is constantly driven to grow, inspire and further educate not only herself but her talented team. With skills and techniques that she has obtained from all over the world, Sherridan aims to produce the very best stylists possible to represent the Envy brand, Australia wide.

Sherridan first opened “Envy by Sherridan” at the age of 19 as a hairdressing salon. After 5 successful years she then decided that it was time for a new challenge. Not known for being one to do things by halves, Sherridan decided to move to London to complete her Diploma of Barbering. She continued to stay on at the academy for some time after, to work as an Educator and gain further skills, before coming home to Bairnsdale and opening “Envy and The Barber Shop” in 2015.

At only 25 years of age, there is no signs of slowing down. In 2018 it was time to follow further dreams and open our second store in the heart of Byron Bay. Continuing to create beautiful hair, from here to there. Sherridan shares her hopes of yet opening another store in the foreseeable future, and is always looking for like-minded and driven stylists to join her on this journey.

Karoline

Manager / Head Colourist / Makeup Artist

In 2012 at the begging of her hairdressing career, Karoline was the first apprentice to train and work at Envy. Working closely for a number of years, Sherridan and Karoline have grown together and created incredible things over the years. Passing on her skills through to our emerging stylists, Karoline truly puts colour into our lives.

Last year our beloved Kaz took a temporary step back from the salon after becoming a new Mum, and what a wonderful one she is. It didn’t take long before she was back in the salon full time, as she just couldn't seem to stay away from her clients.

If you have seen a technique on Youtube or seen something in a magazine, chances are Kaz has already mastered it. When it comes to colour work this lady's magic wand is her tint brush. Not only her precision but also her patience makes her an exceptional colourist and irreplaceable hair stylist.

Rechelle

Head Stylist / Hair Extension Tech / Barber

This girl is no stranger to our Envy family. Over 10 years ago Rechelle and Sherridan began their apprenticeships together at a local hairdressing salon. Who would have thought that all this time later, and a friendship so strong, that now this lady is helping to run things in our Bairnsdale store.

With admirable loyalty, skills and leadership she is a inspiring role model for our team to look up to. If Edward Scissor hands had a daughter, this would be the girl. When it comes to cutting and clipping, she is extremely sought after by her clients.

If your after advice or inspiration, Rechelle is always willing to dedicate or time for her team. As far as training goes, she may not always follow the rules and do thing the “right” way, but there is a lot to be said for learning things the “Rechelle Way”.

Nicole

Apprentice / Makeup Enthusiast / Master Colourist

Right from day one, Nicole has shown a natural flair with hair and makeup artistry. Like no other new hairdresser we have ever seen. This little lady is our rising star. She began her training under our guidance with no prior salon experience and continues to grow each day by perfecting each and every technique she is taught.

We are blown away at the level of work she is producing. Taking over the majority of our colour clientelle. Full of sass and cheek, Nicole has fitted into the role of our little sissy in the salon. In the final year of her training we are so proud of how far she has come. The shy little girl we started with now growing into a woman and bringing so much light.

Kai

Apprentice Barber

The first boy to be crazy enough to join these ladies everyday, and what an amazing guy. Kai brings such and amazing balance to our team and we are very, very lucky to have him.

Without hesitation, Kai jumped into our Barber Shop head first, and is loving every minute. Such a happy and friendly face that isn't afraid to learn. Still within the first year of training, he is full time on the floor.

Spending most of his time in our Bairnsdale store, he also has been working a lot in our Byron Bay store in its beginning. Learning side by side with our boss lady, and constantly continuing to improve, he's showing such promise for becoming a part of behind the scenes running on things.
